My invention relates to improvements in sewing-machines and it consists,amon g other things, in an improved means for preventing the loop that is formed in the needle-thread and instrumental in pulling up the lower thread in a rotary-shuttle sewing-machine from being thrown beyond the needle-paths side that is opposite to the side of said path at which the shuttle takes said loop, and thereby avoid skipping of stitches during the sewing operation. My invention consists, moreover, in certain other meritorious features of construction and combinations of parts hereinafter described, and pointed out in the claims.
